Argentina Travel

Argentina is colourful, cheerful and has something to offer everyone during an tailor-made travel! It covers nearly half of South America and is one of the largest countries in the world. The west is characterised by the overwhelming Andes mountain range, on the border with Chile. The north is partially subtropical with rainforests and waterfalls but also boasts rough landscapes with cactus fields, rough red maintain ranges and coloured mineral mountains! The east and central part of the country are covered by pampas, with endless meadows and Gauchos. And the south includes Patagonia, with its glaciers, lakes, barren steppes and enormous mountains.

Where do you start your trip in such an enormous land? Naturally, that depends on your wishes. Do you want to be overwhelmed by untamed nature or do you prefer lively cities; a combination is also possible!

Emerge yourself in the metropolis of Buenos Aires and admire Evita or the colourful district of Palermo with cute boutiques, terraces and delicious steaks. Or see the tango dancers dance through the streets in San Telmo. You can also explore the city by bike. Travel to the waterfalls that form the natural border between Brazil and Argentina (Iguaçu). Are you open to even more forces of nature? From the most southern city in the world of Ushuaia, it’s possible to make cruises to Antarctica, an you can also make amazing hikes to World’s end. Should you feel like experiencing some more culture after all this greenery? There’s plenty to do in a city trip as well. Mendoza, for example. This is the wine city of Argentina, with the famous Malbec. Bariloche is also worth visiting, Awarded by National Geographic as the best lake district. It’s a great place for horse riding, mountain biking and hiking.

“Nature is so beautiful. These ‘7 colour mountains’ are so impressive in real life! A highlight during the ‘Cafayate tour’ in Salta.”

“Wow, what an amazing landscape we came across during the ‘Humahuaca tour’ in Salta.”

“Buenos Aires, a valhalla of great restaurants. Why not check out a ‘closed door restaurant’, eating in a special setting like this antique shop. There is a first time for everything!”

“The No.1 thing to do in Iguazu is a boat ride past the falls. You’ll definitely get wet and the feeling you’ve ended up spinning in a washing machine! After that, I was happy to get back on land!”

“There it is, the Mendoza Malbec wine! Great to cycle through the wine region with ‘sip stops’ at nice wineries. Easy for Dutch people, a challenge for many others.”
