With this privacy statement we inform you, among other things, about the type of personal data we collect, for which your data are processed and which rights you have.
BOOKING
If you wish to book for other persons, you must be authorized by that person.
What information do we collect from you?
When you book a trip, the information you provide will be recorded by us. We collect data including:
-Name, address, city, telephone number, e-mail
-Date of birth
-Payment data
-Diet data (if you want to specify it)
-Necessary medical data (if you want to give it up)
-Data about the booked trip
-Company name and policy number of your travel insurance
What do we use the data for?
Your data is required to make inquiries, to provide you with information about your trip, for relevant communication concerning the booking, for a good export of the trip and to handle the booking and payment. Your dietary details are shared with the hotel or other travel service providers who provide meals and if this has a medical or religious reason only if you give your consent. Insofar as you consent to this, your medical data will be shared with the travel service provider who needs to be aware of this and needs to be provided for the needs you have indicated, your safety or the safety of third parties. Name and address details, bank details and details of the booked trip, the costs and the payment are processed for the purposes of accounting, debtor administration and collection transactions. Your data may be used for a legitimate interest of the company or third parties, such as settlement of complaints, disputes and legal claims, insofar as your interest does not have to prevail. We process your experience to assess whether you meet the participation requirements. This is necessary for your safety, that of others and for the proper execution of the journey. We process the company name of your travel insurer and your policy number to check whether you have travel insurance because it is mandatory.
Base
We collect your data for the implementation of the agreement we have with you. In addition, data is processed on the grounds of the legitimate interest of the company and third parties, insofar as your interests do not have to prevail. Furthermore, data is collected to comply with legal obligations, including in particular the obligation to keep an accounting. You must give your consent for the processing of your dietary data / medical data.
How long do we keep your data
Unless otherwise stipulated, personal data will be stored up to two years after the trip. Medical data will be deleted after 30 days after the trip. Insofar as data are required for the tax administration, this data is stored during the applicable mandatory period (usually 7 years). The above storage periods can be deviated from due to a statutory obligation or a legitimate interest of the company or third parties insofar as your interest does not have to prevail. Data can be stored, among other things, in the event of complaints, possible disputes or legal claims up to 2 years after settlement of the complaints, the dispute or the legal claims.
With whom do we share your data?
We make your data available to travel service providers if and insofar as this is necessary for the proper execution of the trip, for the purpose of representing your needs, for your safety or the safety of others. The processing of data uses external processors such as the booking system, the accounting system, the e-mail system, the accounting and for the payment and collection.
Transfer to a third country or International organization outside the EU?
If your trip takes place outside the EU, the necessary personal data will be passed on to local travel service providers outside the EU on the basis of the implementation of the (travel) agreement with you. The travel service providers are responsible for the correct processing of your personal data and are bound by the privacy rules that apply in that country.
TRIP EVALUATION
What information do we collect from you?
We collect data including your name, the trip, your travel reviews, your other feedback or information that you mention in the travel evaluation.
What do we use the data for?
We use the data for internal evaluation. We use the data for evaluation and feedback to the travel service provider concerned.
Base
We collect your data on the basis of the implementation of the agreement we have with you. In addition, data are processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the company and travel service providers in the proper evaluation of its products or services insofar as your interests should not prevail.
How long do we keep your data
Data in the evaluation are kept for up to 2 years after the trip.
With whom do we share your data?
For the execution of the evaluation use is made of external processors such as a survey company. The data can be transmitted to the travel service provider. Depending on the situation, this is done in an anonymous form.
NEWSLETTER
What information do we collect from you?
We collect data including your name and e-mail address.
What do we use the data for?
If you subscribe to the newsletter or are a customer with us, your data will be used to send the digital newsletter to you. We ask for your name to personalize the salutation of the newsletter.
Base
If you are not yet a customer, we will process your data insofar as you have given us permission for the use and/or sending of the newsletter. If you are already a customer, we will send you a newsletter based on the legitimate commercial interest of the company when sending the most current travel offer to its customers.
How long do we keep your data
Your data will be kept for these purposes until you log out. You can unsubscribe at the bottom of every newsletter.
With whom do we share your data?
We use an external mail program for sending the newsletter.
BROCHURE (not yet available for UYUNI TRAVELS, possibly in the near future)
What information do we collect from you?
We collect data including your name, address, place of residence, when requesting a hard copy brochure. We collect data including your name and e-mail address when requesting a digital brochure.
What do we use the data for?
When you request a brochure, your data will be used to send it to you.
Base
We process your data for the execution of the agreement after you request us to send the brochure.
How long do we keep your data
Your data will be deleted after 1 month after sending if this information is not used for other purposes mentioned in this privacy statement.
With whom do we share your data?
For sending the brochure, we use an external mail program (digital) or an external printer (hard copy).
COOKIES & PROFILING
What information do we collect from you?
With your consent we collect information about your surfing behavior and your preferences. For this purpose tracking cookies and scripts are used. We collect your IP address.
What do we use the data for?
This data is used to build up profiles so that we can show you targeted advertisements and offers become more relevant to you.
How long do we keep your data
Your profile will be saved no later than 6 months after the last website visit.
COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE TRAVEL
What information do we collect from you?
We collect data including your name, the purchased trip, the complaint and other information that you mention in the complaint.
What do we use the data for?
We use the data for internal evaluation of the complaint. If the complaint concerns the execution of the trip, we use the data for feedback to the travel service provider concerned with the request for a response to the complaint. Your data may be used for a legitimate interest of the company or third parties, such as disputes and legal claims, in so far as your interest does not have to prevail.

We collect your data on the basis of the implementation of the agreement we have with you. In addition, data are processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the company and travel service providers in the case of thorough complaint assessment and complaint handling in so far as your interests do not have to prevail.
How long do we keep your data
Data relating to the complaint will be kept for up to 2 years after the complaint has been processed.
With whom do we share your data?
If applicable, relevant personal data and data about your complaint will be communicated to and discussed with the travel service provider, our lawyer and / or insurer and dispute resolution authorities.
VISA REQUEST
What information do we collect from you?
We collect data including your name and address, e-mail address, date of birth, travel period, first stay location, passport number and period of validity. If necessary, we will send a copy of your passport including photo (without BSN) to the embassy / consulate with your permission.
What do we use the data for?
The requested information is necessary for submitting the visa application and is prescribed by the embassy / consulate.
Base
We process this data for the execution of the agreement. If required, we will forward your copy passport including photo (BSN protected) to the embassy / consulate with your permission.
How long do we keep your data
Your data will be kept for these purposes until the visa application has been completed.
With whom do we share your data?
Your data is shared with the embassy / consulate.
SECURITY
How do we secure your data?
We take all appropriate organizational and technical precautions to protect your personal data and demands from third parties who process your personal data for us to do the same. This means, among other things, that access to your personal data is restricted to persons who are required to process this data through physical and digital access restrictions; our network, data storage and data transport is protected – and where this is suitably encrypted – according to current security standards; log-in and user activities are logged in order to identify unlawful processing; we train our employees and stimulate a privacy culture; the privacy policy is evaluated annually for effectiveness.

AMENDMENTS
We have to adjust this privacy statement from time to time, for example due to changes on the website, changed processing objectives, changed working methods or due to changing regulations. We will change the content of the statements unilaterally and without prior notice.
